Athar Aamir Khan Takes Charge as Deputy Commissioner Budgam

The DC took the charge in presence of ADC Budgam, Mehraj-ud-din shah, JD planning, ACR Budgam, all SDMs, DIO Budgam, Tehsildar’s and other senior officers were present on the occasion.

The Deputy Commissioner was accorded a warm welcome by the officers present. He expressed gratitude to the gathering of officers and officials present on the occasion.

DC for Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan assumes charge

Athar Aamir Khan, an IAS officer from the 2016 batch, officially assumed the role of Deputy Commissioner in Kulgam today.

The transition of authority took place at the mini-secretariat Kulgam, where Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat handed over the charge to the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner.

Upon his arrival, Athar Aamir Khan received a warm welcome from the present officers, including ADDC Showkat Ahmad Rather, ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri, JDP Zahid Sajjad, and other senior officers.

Expressing his commitment on taking charge as DC Kulgam, Athar Aamir affirmed his dedication to maintaining the momentum of development in the district. He emphasized that his top priorities include ensuring prompt service delivery and fostering the overall holistic development of the region.

Before assuming the role of DC Kulgam, Athar Aamir served as the Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation and CEO of Srinagar Smart City Limited.
