At least four civilians were injured on Saturday after a wild animal, believed to be a wild boar, attacked pedestrians in the market area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama, officials said.
The incident caused panic among local residents as the animal reportedly entered the busy market and attacked people at random. Officials confirmed that four persons sustained injuries during the attack.
All the injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Doctors said their condition is stable.
Authorities said the situation was quickly brought under control after the intervention of concerned teams.Officials have advised people to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary movement in the area until it is fully secured
