Northern Railways to Launch Daily Budgam–Delhi Parcel Train for Kashmiri Fruits from Sept 13

Northern Railways will introduce a daily time-tabled parcel train from Budgam to Adarsh Nagar, Delhi, beginning September 13, 2025, to ensure faster, cheaper, and more reliable transport of fruits from Kashmir Valley.

The service will operate at a freight charge of ₹2.41 per kg, with a guaranteed 24-hour delivery time to Delhi, offering fruit growers and traders a significant boost during the harvest season.

Individual traders and fruit growers can book full parcel vans online via Rail SAHAY Portal, while smaller consignments can be booked offline.
