Police in Budgam responded quickly to two medical emergency calls from remote villages in Khansahib, helping save the lives of two women whose conditions had become critical.
In the first case, Police Station Khansahib received an emergency call from Batpora Shekhpora. A woman was suffering from severe pain and urgently needed medical help. In another incident, the same police station received an urgent call from the Hariwanin area. A pregnant woman required immediate medical assistance. Despite difficult terrain and limited access, the police team quickly reached the location and evacuated her safely to the hospital for necessary care.
Local residents praised the police for their timely and humanitarian response, especially given the challenges faced in far-flung areas with poor medical facilities.
