Dipke went live on Instagram as police officers entered the aircraft. According to the video he shared, CJP members Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were also detained from the flight.

The video showed a commotion inside the aircraft as the party members questioned the police action. They asked officers why they had not waited for the passengers to leave the plane before making the detentions.

In the video, Dipke was seen addressing the women police officers who had boarded the aircraft.

“You could have waited till we came out. Come arrest us, we are not afraid,” he said.

The detentions took place ahead of the CJP’s proposed demonstration at Jantar Mantar, which has been denied permission by Delhi Police.

Authorities have stepped up security across the national capital and introduced preventive measures to stop protesters from reaching the planned demonstration site.

The incident aboard the flight has added to tensions surrounding the proposed protest, as police continue efforts to maintain law and order in Delhi.
