Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, addressing a Seerat Conference in Budgam, said true peace is possible only where justice prevails. He expressed solidarity with Palestinians, calling for a genuine ceasefire and a lasting peace process that respects their rights and dignity.
Commenting on Ladakh, he mourned the recent loss of lives and criticized the government for handling local aspirations harshly, stressing dialogue over force.
On Kashmir, Mirwaiz voiced concern over continuous restrictions on him, including detentions on consecutive Fridays, and said bans on gatherings, property seizures, and media harassment hinder peaceful dialogue.

Mirwaiz emphasized that lasting peace in Kashmir, Ladakh, and globally depends on justice, dialogue, and respect for human and religious rights.
