Multiple Injuries Reported in Head-On Collision in Kupwara District

Nine individuals sustained injuries following a head-on collision between two vehicles in the Bramri area of Kupwara district this afternoon.Reported by Kashmir News Service (KNS), the incident involved an Eco vehicle with registration number JK09C 3081 and a Tata Sumo with registration number JK09 1114 at Maidanpora Bramri.

The injured were promptly evacuated and taken to Quality Health Care Hospital for immediate medical attention.Dr. Majeed, the Managing Director of Quality Health Care Hospital, mentioned that the accident transpired near their facility in Bramri. In response, their team swiftly dispatched personnel to aid in the evacuation process and provide initial medical aid.

“We attended to nine individuals, some of whom sustained severe injuries, including head trauma. Our medical staff administered first aid promptly, and those critically injured were subsequently transferred to GMC Handwara,” Dr. Majeed further stated (KNS).
