Senior National Conference (NC) leader and Srinagar MP Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi has reiterated that he will resign from both the party and Parliament on November 3, saying nothing has changed his decision.

“As sure as I was when I announced it. Nothing has changed ever since. Things remain the same. I don’t see any reason for me to change my decision. I am resigning on November 3 from the National Conference as well as Parliament, as I announced earlier,” he said.

Asked about his future course of action after the proposed resignation, Ruhullah replied, “Let’s see how things turn after that.”

His latest remarks reaffirm his stated intention to leave the ruling National Conference and resign as a Member of Parliament on November 3. His next political move remains unclear.
