A minor girl from the Rafiabad area of Baramulla, who had been missing since October 19, has been traced at Dargah Hazratbal in Srinagar, officials said on Wednesday.

Officials told GNS that the girl was found following an extensive search operation launched by Sopore police in coordination with her family.

Following her recovery, the family appealed to the public and social media users to remove her photographs from social media platforms, citing concerns about her privacy and future.

The family also expressed gratitude to everyone who helped trace the girl, particularly the police and media.

The family’s appeal highlights the importance of respecting the privacy of minors, especially in cases involving missing children.
