Supreme Court Seeks Complete Medical Record of Imran Khan

The court also urged the opposition party not to politicise Khan’s health condition.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Shahid Waheed, along with Justice Naeem Akhtar and Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim, was hearing petitions filed by Khan concerning his medical treatment and meetings with family members.
Court Questions Missing Medical Records
During the hearing, Justice Waheed questioned why the court had not received Khan’s complete medical record.
“What is the problem in providing his medical record?” the judge asked.
The court observed that the documents submitted so far contained only a summary of Khan’s medical reports rather than his complete medical record.
Authorities Ordered to Submit Full Records
The Supreme Court directed the relevant authorities to provide the complete medical record before the next hearing.
The proceedings are focused on Khan’s medical treatment while in custody, as well as requests concerning meetings between the former prime minister and his family members.
The court’s direction comes amid continuing political debate over Khan’s health and access to medical care while he remains incarcerated.
