The tournament has been organised by the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports to involve young people in positive sporting activities and encourage a healthy, disciplined, and drug-free lifestyle.
The event was held under the supervision of Er. Rakesh Sing Sambyal.
Vice Chancellor Opens Tournament
The Chief Guest for the event was Prof. Jawaid Iqbal, who officially inaugurated the football league and performed the ceremonial toss.
In his speech, he highlighted the value of sports in building discipline, teamwork, physical fitness, and strong character among young people.
He praised the organisers for creating opportunities that guide the energy of youth towards positive activities and social responsibility.
Exciting Opening Match
The opening match was played between Rainplay Football Club Rajouri and BGSBU Eagles.
The match created huge excitement among players, students, and football fans, giving the tournament an energetic and promising start.
