Saudi media has reported the death of Sheikh Ibrahim al-Madani, a muezzin of Masjid al-Haram, whose passing has prompted an outpouring of grief among those who knew and admired him.

According to the account, he would sometimes spend several days in the Mukabbariyyah of Masjid al-Haram, particularly during the final part of the night, engaged in worship and seeking closeness to Allah.
Those who knew Sheikh Ibrahim described him as a man deeply devoted to ‘ibadah and private acts of worship. His devotion was remembered not simply as an expression of emotion following his death, but as testimony from people who had known him.
His passing has been mourned by his admirers, with many remembering his devotion and attachment to worship.
May Allah accept his acts of worship, forgive him, raise his ranks and grant him a high place in Jannatul Firdaus. May his life also remind us of the value of deeds performed quietly and known only to Allah.
