Dhruv Rathee Detained in Gurugram Ahead of Delhi Protest
YouTuber Dhruv Rathee was reportedly detained by Delhi Police at his residence in Sector 56, Gurugram, on Saturday ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) proposed protest at Jantar Mantar, according to police sources.

Earlier this week, Delhi Police refused permission for the proposed protest, citing security concerns and procedural requirements.
Authorities have increased preventive detentions and deployed police personnel at key locations to prevent protesters from reaching Jantar Mantar.
Police have so far detained around 150 protesters from different locations in the New Delhi area, according to the report.
The proposed demonstration has prompted extensive security measures, with police keeping a close watch on sensitive areas across the capital.
