JKBOSE Revises Exam Form Schedule, Sets September 10 Deadline for Annual/Regular 2026 Exams

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has revised the schedule for submitting online examination forms and renewal of registration returns for the Annual/Regular 2026 examinations, with September 10, 2026, set as the last date for submission without a late fee. According to the latest notification, the revised schedule applies to students appearing for Class 10, 11 and 12 examinations in the Kashmir division of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the erstwhile Kargil district of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
September 10 deadline for regular fee
Students and institutions can submit the examination forms online with the prescribed regular fee until September 10.
Those who fail to complete the process within the deadline will still have an opportunity to submit their forms, but they will have to pay a late fee of Rs 850.
The late-fee window will remain open from September 11 to September 14, 2026, the Board said.
Earlier conditions remain unchanged
JKBOSE officials said that all other terms and conditions mentioned in the previous notification will remain unchanged.
The Board said the revised timeline has been issued to facilitate students and institutions in completing the required formalities in view of the ongoing academic schedule.
Students, schools and other concerned institutions have been advised to complete the process within the prescribed dates to avoid any last-minute difficulties.
