Sajjad Shaheen National Conference (NC) leader and MLA Banihal Flags off SRTC Bus Services Connecting Jammu, Gool, and Banihal
National Conference (NC) leader and MLA Banihal, Sajjad Shaheen flagged off two new Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) bus services on Wednesday. The new routes include Jammu to Gool and Jammu to Banihal.
Speaking on the occasion, Shaheen emphasized the importance of the new services in addressing the transportation needs of the people. “This fulfills a long-standing need of our people. My gratitude to Hon’ble Minister Satish Sharma for approving six buses for the Banihal-Gool constituency,” he said.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance connectivity in the region. Shaheen also announced that additional bus services on routes such as Jammu to Khari, Jammu to Ukharhal Pogal, and Jammu to Neel will commence operations soon.
The introduction of these bus services is expected to provide much-needed relief to residents, making travel between these remote areas and Jammu more convenient and accessible.
