Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, recalling his unwavering commitment to the J&K’s betterment.
Speaking at assembly Abdullah quoted Vajpayee’s famous saying, “We can change our friends, but not our friends,” highlighting the late leader’s diplomatic efforts to bridge divides.
Abdullah praised Vajpayee for opening cross-border roads and his consistent efforts to connect civil societies, which he believes would have alleviated the current challenges in the Valley had the government continued in that direction.
The CM stated that speaking negatively about Vajpayee’s intentions would not serve the greater good.
