Bukhari criticized the PDD for allegedly targeting impoverished residents to mask their inefficiencies in managing transmission losses. “Both rural and urban residents are suffering from these exorbitant electricity charges,” Bukhari stated, describing the situation as a form of harassment towards economically vulnerable populations in Jammu & Kashmir.
He called on the Lieutenant Governor’s administration to intervene and prevent the poor from bearing the brunt of administrative failures. “This harassment of J&K’s poor must cease immediately!” Bukhari demanded.
