Advisor Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, in his capacity as the Lieutenant Governor’s representative, led a meeting at the Civil Secretariat to assess the progress of various ongoing schemes under the Skill Development department (SDD).
Present at the meeting were Secretary of SDD, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan; Director Sudershan Kumar; Leena Padha, Mission Director of Skill Development Mission; the Director of Finance for SDD, as well as Principals, Superintendents of Polytechnic colleges and ITIs, executive engineers, and other relevant officers.
The discussion revolved around a detailed analysis of schemes such as PM Vishwakarma Yojana, PMKVY, SANKALP, STRIVE, and others, alongside an assessment of the department’s CAPEX for 2023-24.
Advisor Bhatnagar stressed the importance of efficiently utilizing allocated resources for successful scheme implementation. He urged officers to monitor these initiatives regularly to ensure they meet their objectives.
