More Detailes of Two Labourers Usman Malik and Sufiyan who Injured in Militant Attack in Kashmir’s Mazhama Budgam
Two non-local labourers sustained injuries after militants targeted them in the Mazhama area of Budgam, central Kashmir, on Friday evening. The victims were identified as Usman Malik, son of Muhammad Julfan Malik, and Sufiyan, 25, son of Muhammad Inaam Ilyas, both from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Usman suffered a bullet wound to his right hand, while Sufiyan was shot in the right leg.
Following the attack, the injured were promptly taken to Sub District Hospital Budgam before being transferred to SKIMS Medical College, Bemina. “Both are stable and receiving treatment from orthopaedic doctors in the emergency ward,” stated an on-duty doctor.
Security forces, including J&K Police, CRPF, and Army personnel, responded swiftly to the attack. They heightened security measures in the area, launched a search operation, and conducted vehicle checks to locate the attackers.
This incident marks the sixth such attack in Kashmir in recent weeks. Previous attacks included the fatal shooting of Ashok Chauhan, a corn seller from Bihar, and injuries to other labourers and Army personnel.
