Update of Khanyar Encounter: 2 CRPF jawans and 2 Policemen injured

Two Central Reserve Police Force and two Special Operation Group Personnel of J&K police were injured in an ongoing encounter in Khanyar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday.

A top police officer told that during ongoing fight four persons including two CRPF and SOG Personnel recieved bullet wounds.All the four were shifted to hospital for treatment, where their condition is said to be stable, the officer added.

Meanwhile, no terrorist has been so far killed in the ongoing operation.Earlier, a gunfight broke out between terrorist and security forces in Khanyar on specific input.(GNS)
