DIPR Joint Director Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari Highlights Importance of Preserving Kashmir’s Cultural Heritage
Joint Director, Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Kashmir, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, highlighted the importance of preserving Kashmir’s cultural heritage while speaking at a cultural program organized on Independence Day. He emphasized the need to pass this legacy to future generations and provide a platform for artists to express themselves.
Bukhari reiterated the government’s commitment to promoting Kashmiri art forms and stressed the responsibility of empowering artists and strengthening the cultural fabric of Kashmir. He discussed preparations for Republic Day, including the main function at Bakshi Stadium on January 26.
The event, organized by the Kashmir Music Club and the Department of Information under the Cultural Academy, celebrated the spirit of independence through artistic performances. Bukhari emphasized the need to create more opportunities for artists and make the auditorium a vibrant cultural hub.
