Tragic Incident in Gudder Kulgam, Son Danish Ahmad Khan Dies Mother Fameeda Akhter Critical from Charcoal Fumes
A mother-son duo in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district were found unconscious in their home due to inhaling toxic fumes from a charcoal fire used for heating.
The son, Danish Ahmad Khan, passed away at the hospital on Saturday morning despite prompt medical attention. His mother, Fameeda Akhter, remains in critical condition and is receiving intensive medical care.
The incident occurred in Gudder village of the district. Authorities have confirmed that the cause of the suffocation was charcoal fire fumes.The police have registered a case in this regard. [KNT]
