JKCSF chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani Urges Government to Increase Medical Allowance, Release DA to J-K Employees and Pensioners

The Jammu Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani Thursday said he sent a representation to the J-K chief minister Omar Abdullah, asking him to address the issues of employees and pensioners of the Union Territory.
The representatives urged the government to increase the medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 while also releasing the 3% Dearness Allowances to the employees.In addition, the government was also urged to release gratuity, leave salary, and GP fund to the working and retired employees of the Union Territory.
The representation, as per an official handout met the CM’s advisor Nasir Aslam Wani.JKCSF chairman has also written to the J-K chief secretary regarding the issue, said the handout.
