Dr. Mohd Salim Reshi, Assistant Professor at the Department of Zoology, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, delivered an invited talk at the esteemed international conference, “Agritech Intelligence and Beyond: Cutting Edge Innovations in Agriculture and Allied Sciences (AI-CIAS).” Organised by SKUAST-K, the event took place from 15th to 17th October 2024 at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Shuhama, Srinagar.
Dr. Reshi’s talk, entitled “Nanotechnology: Unlocking New Therapeutic Pathways,” focused on the transformative role nanotechnology plays in advancing medical therapeutics, particularly in agriculture and allied sciences. He also chaired sessions for oral and poster presentations, showcasing his leadership and contributions to the conference.
Additionally, Dr. Reshi’s Ph.D. student, Darakhshan Javaid, won the Best Poster Presentation award in the online category. The poster emphasised the therapeutic potential of plants in the fight against breast cancer, a key area of research under Dr. Reshi’s mentorship. This accomplishment highlights the pioneering work in nanotherapeutics and plant-based therapies being conducted under his supervision.
