In the early trends of the Assembly elections in Jammu & Kashmir, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Waheed ur Rehman Parra has taken the lead from the Pulwama constituency. As per the latest reports, Parra has secured 4,077 votes from Pulwama (34), marking a strong position in the early counting.
In the Rajpora constituency (35), National Conference (NC) candidate Ghulam Mohi ud Din Mir is leading with 1,890 votes, while the Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Surinder Singh has gained an edge in Tral with 1,725 votes.
Meanwhile, NC has established a firm presence in Shopian district, with Showkat Hussain Ganie leading from Zainapora (36) with 4,219 votes and Sheikh Mohammad Rafi maintaining a lead in Shopian (37) with 1,707 votes.
