By Only 811 Votes Nizamuddin Bhat Defeated Usman Majid in Bandipora Assembly Constituency

In Bandipora assembly constituency Indian national congress candidate Nizam-ud-din Bhat has defeated his Arch rival Usman Majid by winning with a margin of 811 votes.Bhat secured 20391 votes out of 73772 votes followed by Usman who secured 19580 votes.

On Bandipora constituency seat the contest from the early days was heated and close contest was expected in exit polls also in between Usman Majid and Nizam-ud-din Bhat.

Speaking with the media after receiving his winning certificate Bhat thanked voters for choosing him, says they have earlier apprehensions of rigging but thanked administration and ECI for conducting elections peacefully.Bhat got benefit and limitation as he received lead in his last round from Naidkhai areas.(KNS).
