A retired Superintendent of Police (SP), Sheikh Mohammad Aslam, was arrested for publishing sensitive content and information in a book, officials reported.
Aslam, who hails from Udhampur district and currently resides in the Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu, was arrested under the Official Secrets Act (OSA) on Friday night. The arrest was due to his publication of FIRs and other sensitive information.
“A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway,” officials added. (KNS)
