JAMMU, JANUARY 09 :Upon taking charge, the Director conducted a brief introductory meeting with the department’s officers. During the discussion, he emphasized the importance of bolstering the department’s activities and core competencies by incorporating modern and new media platforms to enhance its outreach.
The Director urged the officers to ensure the timely dissemination of accurate information to the public, emphasizing transparency and improving communication channels between the government and the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
Following the meeting, the Director toured the office complex, engaging with the employees and fostering a sense of collaboration.
In a separate event, the officers and officials of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) bid a warm farewell to the outgoing Director Minga Sherpa, who has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner Baramulla.
