Srinagar District Administration Bids Fond Farewell to Outgoing DC and Welcomes New Leadership
The Srinagar District Administration bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, in a splendid ceremony held at the Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex. Mohammad Aijaz Asad has been reassigned to the Administrative Secretary position in the Planning & Monitoring Department and Civil Aviation Department.
The event also marked the welcoming of Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, who assumed the role of the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) for Srinagar, with great enthusiasm from the Officers and Staff of the DC Office Srinagar. The gathering included Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar RTO Kashmir, Additional Deputy Commissioners, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDMs, Tehsidhars, and various District & Sectoral Officers.
During the occasion, officers commended the significant contributions of outgoing DC Mohammad Aijaz Asad. They praised his efforts in spearheading developmental initiatives in Srinagar District, ensuring an efficient public delivery system, and actively working towards mitigating the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, addressing the drug menace, promoting employment, and advancing infrastructure development.
