Dr. Farooq, Omar Abdullah condole demise of Peerzada Muhammad Yahya
Srinagar, 28 Nov(KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of the Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief over the demise of Pirzada Muhammad Yahya Qadri of Pir Takiya Nigeen.
In their condolence message of omer , the duo prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved household to bear the inconsolable loss.
Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Senior VP Kashmir Province Muhammad Syed Akhoon, District President Srinagar Peer Afaq Ahmad, Provincial President YNC Salman Ali Sagar have also extended sympathies and condolences to the bereaved Qadri household on their bereavement.
Meanwhile party functionaries also condoled with Youth leader Er. Sameer Bhat on the death of his cousin Maqsood Bhat of Kaloosa Bandipora. The functionaries prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest stations of Jannat.(KNS).

He is the son of the 1st elected Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Sheikh Abdullah, and father of former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah.

He studied in Srinagar and later at Aligarh Muslim University, where he developed a strong sense of social justice and political awareness.Sheikh political journey gained momentum in the 1930s when he became a vocal advocate for the rights of the Kashmiri people. He founded the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference in 1932, which later transformed into the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (NC) in 1939. The NC became a prominent political force in the region.
