Omar Abdullah Oversees Efficient Restoration Efforts After Kashmir Snowfall
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced that restoration work in Kashmir Valley is proceeding efficiently after the recent snowfall. The current electricity load in the valley is 1200 MW, with expectations to rise throughout the day. Snow clearance is being prioritized on major roads.
Ministers @sakinaitoo and Javaid Dar, along with advisor @nasirsogami, are actively monitoring the situation on the ground. The weather department has predicted more snowfall today, further impacting the region. Omar Abdullah emphasized the ongoing efforts, stating, “The current status of our feeders is outlined below. Snow clearance work is proceeding with priority roads receiving immediate attention. Two ministers, @sakinaitoo & Javaid Dar along with advisor @nasirsogami will be moving around the districts to review the situation on the ground,” in a post on X.
