Jammu and Kashmir Police Seize Properties of Terror Handlers in Baramulla
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have taken a significant step in combating terrorism by attaching properties belonging to two terror handlers in Baramulla. The attached properties, totaling 3 Kanals and 19 Marlas of land and valued at lakhs of rupees, are owned by Jalal Din, son of Raj Mohd, residing in Zamboor Pattan, and Mohd Saki, son of Mastana Bhatti, residing in Kamalkote Uri. Both individuals are reportedly based in Pakistan.
This action was carried out under Section 83 of the Criminal Procedure Code and is linked to a case under Sections 7 and 25 of the Indian Arms Act and 4(III) of the TADA Act.
According to officials, the properties were identified during an investigation or inquiry conducted by the police. The police have emphasized that this operation reaffirms their commitment to combatting terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of the region.
The seizure of these assets marks a significant development in the ongoing efforts to disrupt the activities of terror networks operating in the region.
