Under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Ishtiyaq Abdullah, the surgical team executed this intricate procedure sans any implant, establishing a new benchmark in orthopedic surgery within the region.

The patient, diagnosed with a Type 3 right AC Joint dislocation, underwent a comprehensive MRI evaluation before undergoing this groundbreaking surgery at the Ortho Theatre GMC Baramulla. Executed under the Aayushman Bharat scheme, the procedure employed a bra-type incision, with the joint meticulously reconstructed using a Hamstring Graft.
