Kathua Policeman Dismissed from Service Over Alleged Involvement in Narcotics Smuggling

Kathua: A Selection Grade constable of the Jammu and Kashmir Police has been dismissed from service for his alleged involvement in a narcotics smuggling case, as the department reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against drug-related offences. According to a police spokesperson, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua Mohita Sharma ordered the dismissal of Aftab Ahmed, a resident of Reasi district, following a departmental inquiry that found him involved in a case registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
