Body Found in Ahlan Gadole Forest During Search Operation in Kokernag
A body has been recovered in the Ahlan Gadole forest area of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said on Thursday.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the body was spotted by search teams during an ongoing search and rescue operation in the dense forests.
“The identity of the deceased and the cause of death are yet to be ascertained,” he said.
He said the body has been taken into possession for medico-legal formalities, while further investigation has been initiated.
Notably, two Army soldiers had gone missing amid inclement weather conditions a few days ago with Army stating that an operation team on Kishtwar range confronted a severe snowstorm in the mountainous area—(KNO)
