The State Investigation Agency (SIA) Kashmir carried out search operations at the premises of two suspects in the Bijbehara area of Anantnag, in connection with the killing of a migrant labourer in April last year.
According to a statement, these searches were part of the ongoing investigation into the brutal murder of Raja Sah on April 17, 2024, in Bijbehara.
The statement stated that the searches were conducted to uncover critical evidence in order to unravel the conspiracy behind this heinous crime and identify the accomplices involved. Significant evidence was reportedly recovered during the searches, which is expected to strengthen the investigation. These findings will assist the SIA Kashmir in bringing the perpetrators of this terrorist act to justice and dismantling the terror module responsible for such activities.
It further added that the search operations are a vital step towards identifying and apprehending the co-conspirators and supporters of the accused, ensuring a thorough investigation into the murder and the related unlawful activities. — (KNO)
