Omar Abdullah Wishes Speedy Recovery for Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi; Nasir Wani Visits Hospital

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed his heartfelt wishes for the speedy and complete recovery of renowned Islamic scholar and religious leader, Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi.

In a message shared on social media, Omar Abdullah conveyed his concern over the health condition of Mufti Qasmi Sahib, who is currently undergoing treatment following a reported heart attack on Friday.

“I have learned about the health concerns facing Jenab Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi Sahib. I extend my heartfelt wishes for his swift and complete recovery,” Omar Abdullah said.

He also informed that Nasir Aslam Wani, Provincial President of the National Conference for Kashmir and his close colleague, had visited Mufti Qasmi in the hospital on his behalf to personally convey their prayers and best wishes.

“My colleague, Nasir Aslam Wani — Sogami Sahib — had the opportunity to visit him and conveyed our sincere hopes for his prompt return to health,” Omar added.

Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi, a respected scholar and key member of the J&K Grand Mufti’s Council, is widely followed for his religious teachings and community guidance. News of his health condition has prompted an outpouring of concern and prayers from people across the Kashmir Valley and beyond.

Local leaders, religious organisations, and members of the public have continued to visit the hospital and offer their prayers for his recovery.

The medical team attending to Mufti Qasmi has reported that his condition is stable, and he is responding well to treatment.
