J&K Government Orders Transfers of Senior IPS Officers
The government Tuesday ordered the transfers and postings of two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers with immediate effect.
S J M Gillani, Managing Director, J&K Police Housing Corporation, holding the additional charge of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special Director General (DG) Coordination Police Headquarters.
He would continue to hold the additional charge of MD, J&K Police Housing Corporation.Alok Kumar, Director, J&K Fire and Emergency Services, would hold the charge of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence and State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF), J&K, in addition to his duties.
