Army Soldier Dies by Suicide in Kupwara District, Investigation Underway

An Army soldier died by suicide at the Ragni post in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday night.Official sources told news agency JKNS that the soldier died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound using his service weapon.

He was immediately evacuated to the hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him brought dead.Meanwhile, the police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway. (JKNS)
