Manzoor Wangnoo, Chairman of NLCO/NTTA, was nominated as the Chairman of the Environmental Sub Committee of the Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) during an Executive Committee Meeting at Hotel The Vale Lodge, Pahalgam.
“I am honored to have been nominated for this responsibility. I thank President TAAK Rauf Tramboo, Past Presidents Peerzada Faiyaz Ahmed, Ashfaq Dug, Farooq Kuthoo, General Secretary Sajjad Kralyari, and the Executive Committee for this nomination,” said Wangnoo.
The meeting resolved to plant one million trees in the coming years to address environmental issues.
“TAAK is an association of like-minded and environmentally conscious individuals. With Manzoor Wangnoo leading our Environmental Sub Committee, we aim to safeguard our environment,” said Rauf Tramboo, President TAAK.
Peerzada Faiyaz Ahmed, Past President TAAK, stated that Wangnoo’s leadership will contribute to environmental efforts. “I commit to leading this initiative with a practical approach to ensure tangible outcomes.”
Farooq Kuthoo, Past President TAAK, noted that the tree-planting resolution aligns with Wangnoo’s commitment to environmental conservation.
Ashfaq Siddiq Dug, Past President TAAK, remarked that Wangnoo’s contributions to society and the environment are well-known and that he is suited for this role.
