It is worth noting that a few months ago, a prestigious ceremony was held at the renowned Darul Uloom Noor-ul-Islam in Tral, South Kashmir. In this ceremony, six students who had completed the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an were honoured. The turban ceremony for the Huffaz (those who memorised the Qur’an) was conducted by the renowned Islamic scholar and spiritual leader, Maulana Muhammad Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi.

In his address, Maulana Qasmi urged the Muslim community to fulfil their obligations towards the Qur’an, describing it as the ultimate remedy for all challenges. He emphasised that the Holy Qur’an is a book of guidance and mercy for all humanity. Those who educate their children with Qur’anic teachings are truly praiseworthy. The Holy Qur’an holds solutions to all issues, and Muslims must look towards its teachings to solve their problems and set their life’s goals according to the Qur’an, to achieve success in this world and the hereafter.

The six students who were honoured in the ceremony were Muhammad Haseeb Ramzan, Imtiaz Ahmad Mir (residing in Pastoona), Muhammad Ilyas (residing in Gulab Bagh), Burhan Jabbar (residing in Nai Bagh), Masroof Sultan (residing in Tangmarg), and Saqib Tariq (residing in Nehr Tral).
